Minimum Qualification Requirements:

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in Civil Engineering.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Three years of registered professional Civil Engineering experience, including or supplemented by one year in supervising or being responsible for an engineering operation or function.
License Requirement:
1. Current State of Hawaii registration as a professional engineer in Civil Engineering. You must submit a copy of your professional license within 7 days of filing this application. Mail or drop off: Department of Human Resources, 650 South King Street, 10th Floor, Honolulu, HI 96813.
Applicants with an out-of-state license in Civil Engineering must obtain their Hawaii license prior to appointment.
